Welcome back, fencers!

Fall practice schedule  — We start Monday September 9th!

We’re back at Royal Oak Middle School Mondays 8 – 10 pm and Wednesday 7:30 – 10 pm.

Membership is $40/month or $10 per drop in.

Can’t wait to see you!

Please note we do not have the gym on the following dates:

Wed. Sept 25, Mon. Oct 14, Mon. Nov 11.

Special events:

Last night for the Fall will be December 18 (gift stealing night).

Beginners Invitational: November 16 (10 am – 3:30 pm)

Renew your CFF License

Competitive fencers, it’s time to renew your CFF license. You can do it here:

Canada Cup

The Canada Cup is in Richmond BC from September 27-30.

Register by September 5 for a discount!

Spread the word: Fall 2019 beginners

The 2019 Fall Beginner class will begin Wednesday October 9.

Beginner class is $60 and includes:

  • 8 weeks of instruction on Wednesdays at Royal Oak Middle School gym
  • All equipment provided
  • Free membership for December 2019, following the class
  • Registration in beginners invitational tournament (10 am – 3:30 pm, Saturday, November 16).

First four weeks are from 7:30 – 8:45, Last four weeks fencers may stay until 10 pm to practice sparring.

Space is limited in this class, so please pre-register to ensure you have a spot.

Grant update

The CCFC gratefully acknowledges another year of funding from the BC Government!

BC government community grants help the fencing club pay our rent, host workshops, run tournaments and purchase equipment, and fund youth travel to tournaments.
