Hello fencers,
I am writing to confirm our fencing practice times times:
Saanich recreation has confirmed we will be fencing at the following times:
- Mondays (starting tomorrow Oct 19!!) from 8 -10 pm
- Wednesdays (starting Oct 21) from 7 – 9 pm.
There is no early entry and Saanich does not allow spectators in the school any more.
For those who are arranging early pick up times for a fencer, please let your fencer know when to come out and meet you. Exit will be by the back gym door, around the patch and up the steps to the parking loop at the front of the school. Saanich Rec has said they will have it all marked with lights.
EQUIPMENT RENTAL
For those renting club equipment we will sort that out on Monday and Wednesday night. All the jackets and gloves have been washed and we have brand new masks still in the box.
Please e-transfer $250 OR bring a cheque if you prefer.
My one concern is we may be short of lames for foilists, but we can order some if needed. We did acquire some new ones so we should be good but sizing and handedness can always cause concerns and I want to make sure we have people in the best sizes. No more pillow of air defense!
Club fees
A reminder we are handling fees by etransfer or cheque only.
The drop in rate is $10 per session.
The monthly rate is $40 per month.
