Fencing Club Picnic July 10 at Gyro Park
“Picnic Area B” at Gyro Park (Cadboro Bay) is booked on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 3 pm – 5 pm

Bring your own snacks and drinks … and fencing gear to fence outside! ! ! Win a jar of pickles!*
We will be able to fence in the area around the picnic tables.
There is no power near us, so it is dry fencing… prepare to make difficult calls and to argue a lot (more than normal)!
Those who have rented club equipment can bring it back to return at this event (after using if you wish to fence)
If you have gear to return and cannot come, please reply to this email to arrange a return plan.
All fencers are welcome plus family to cheer them on in their fencing. RSVP appreciated but not required. Kazoos, as always, strongly encouraged.
Please note:
This park doesn’t allow dogs after May, so there will be no dogs with swords and this image is not true:
There is also not a lot of shade at this park so bring a hat for when not in a mask.
