Hello Fencers!
A few quick updates from the fencing club for October
1. Trick or Beat (attack!)
Prepare yourself because will have a Hallowe’en themed challenge and a chance to win this excellent item tomorrow night (Wed Oct 26):
That’s right! It is a spooky light up garden gnome pumpkin and You know you want it!
It will be a creepy night where we find out where the body (wires) are buried and locate the living dead (spots on our lames). Spooky sabrists, haunted zombie epeeists and freaky foils abound! … and probably you can also win a bit of Hallowe’en candy.
2. Wednesdays we fence 7:30 pm to 10 pm now
We have added an extra half hour of fencing on Wednesday nights from here foreward… the night was just a tad too short for many of us!
3. Reminder to enter by the gym doors after main doors close
Sometimes the building attendant leaves before us and locks the front door– if you arrive a bit late you will find a sign for fencing on the front door when this is the case… simply come down the ramp to the gym door and bang away at it… we will let you in!
