Yes we fence on Monday
A few folks asked if we will fence Monday, since many schools and workplaces mark Truth and Reconciliation Day on Monday.
We will be fencing on Monday: Since the recreation centre staff work on Saturday, they will mark Truth and Reconciliation Day on September 30 itself, so the rec centre will operate as usual on Monday night (and on Sunday). We will therefore be fencing on Monday night, and will have Youth clinic on Sunday.

Gear order
Several people have expressed interest in a gear order. YES we can do that.
We order gear through crossed swords and this gets us a bit of a discount. If you would like to order equipment through our club discount, have a look at crossedswords.ca and let me know what you would like to purchase. I can help with advice on what to choose–and you should check out their excellent sizing resources.
I will find out the discounted price and let you know. If you confirm I will invoice you and we will submit the order. To save on cost, we get everything shipped to the club and then bring it to practice to distribute.
Also, since much of our newer gear is from there, that can be a good way to check on what size.
