!YES! We fence Saturday Oct 12

Saturday practice from 4:30 to 6 pm will go ahead as usual!

If you haven’t joined us on Saturday yet, now is your chance!

No fencing Thanksgiving Day (night)

Monday (Oct 14)

We do not have the gym MONDAY night (OCT 14) due to Thanksgiving. You can recuperate from Saturday and rest your wattle.

And since I have your attention — no fencing on Election Day (Sat Oct 19)

We will not exercise our fencing muscles on Saturday Oct 19, but we can exercise our franchise (if legally able to vote in provincial elections). No wattles involved in this. Also hopefully no (ballot) stuffing either.

After Thanksgiving is the time of the Great Pumpkin!

Feel free to come in costume (but you are also fabulous enough in fencing gear) and ready to fence on Wednesday October 30.
There will be tricks.
There will be treats.
That is what we know for sure. The rest is mayhem.

October Equipment order

I have been asked about ordering equipment and will do an order in October.

If you want to order something with us, please find the items on crossedswords.ca and send me your list by email. Remember to include all details required by the site – size, left or right hand, specifications— I will invoice you and once I have payment the order is submitted.. You benefit from the club discount. The items are shipped to the club and brought to practice for pick up.

Don’t worry there will be another order in December.
