CCFC AGM Wednesday Dec 3

Calling all Capital City Fencers’ Club (CCFC) members… our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held in the first 20 minutes of practice on Wednesday December 3.

The AGM starts promptly at 7:35 and as soon as it is done we fence.

Financial report (financial update, including confirming fees for 2026-2027)

Who can vote? Every club member

Who are the members? If you have an annual or monthly membership, punch card, or took a beginner class with CCFC in 2025, you are a voting member (yes, including the youth!).

Who can be a board member? Any member who is 18 or older can run for the Board of Directors and all members of any age may vote in this election.

Who can be/vote for the youth rep? Members who are 16 or 17 years old can run to be a youth rep to the board, and members who are 17 or younger can vote in the youth rep election.

Why do we have an AGM? CCFC is a non-profit society governed by its members. The AGM ensures that CCFC is democratically run. CCFC is governed by our Bylaws which are found on our website Documents page.

Congratulations to all the beginners on the completion of the Fall 2025 Capital City Fencers’ Club beginner class. We hope you have enjoyed the class, and your introduction to the sport of fencing.
