Hello fencers!
As mentioned in my email a couple weeks ago, our Club Annual General Meeting (AGM) is on Wednesday December 7 at start of practice (7:30 pm – 7:20 ish)
If you have paid fees to CCFC in 2022, you are eligible to vote in this meeting and to stand for election, including youth fencing members.
Financial statements have been posted on our website.
Agenda is below, and I want to draw members attention to theproposal to update our fee schedule (to increase fees in September 2023, and also to increase the amount for gas reimbursement when volunteers drive youth car pool to Vancouver tournaments. Members at the meeting will be able to propose amendments to the motion, ask questions, and vote on this matter.
If you cannot attend but wish to submit comments please feel free to send me an email and I will read it out at the meeting.
Similarly, if you cannot attend but would like to stand for election to the board, feel free to email me your candidate statement.
